 About fifteen years ago I began putting my imagination's voices on paper.  I enjoyed writing in high school and college, but never pursued it even after Mrs. Irby prodded me.  Lying on the floor in my living room, mind spinning, I finally decided to introduce Leyn to my laptop.  Closing my eyes, I can still see her standing in that bank lobby holding her toy ball.  

Process?  All day I have these characters and worlds running through my mind, so I use notepads and sticky notes to capture ideas, locations, mannerisms to use when I work (mostly at night).  Driving, I'll record ideas on my phone, often forget and find them days or even months later, the light bulb resuming it's glow until the idea can be written down.
